What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy At The Age Of 43 With Dominant Follicles?

Hello doctor, i am 43 years old. Having one daughter with natural and normal delivery. i would like to have one more child. I consult the gynecologist and went for follicular studies. AMH level found to be .3. They suggested me to take ovistrone Tablet. Normal cycle, every month dominant follicles formed,TSH normal, FSH more, AMH low level. Is it possible for me to conceive?.

Hi,

1. first of all the normal level of AMH is 2-8. 3 falls under the normal range.

As you said you are 43 years old. At this age, the ovarian reserve starts to decline as you are very near to the menopausal age.

So the doctor has prescribed you Ovistron tablet which helps to maintain an ovarian reserve.

2. if all other test is normal then you can try to conceive with normal as well also by the IVF technique.
