hello dear, welcome to healthcaremagic,Hypokalemia causes muscle pains.I would advice you to rest until your plasma potassium levels come to normal, which is between 3.5 to 5.0 mmol/litre.Yes it is recommended that you have a high potassium diet which includes fruit juices and coconut water.Eat bananas.muscular cramps, myalgia, muscle fatigue, constipation, breathlessness, these are all symptoms of hypokalemia.symptoms can worsen with severe decrease in potassium levels and can also affect the heart. The cause behind hypokalemia has to be found out and treated. All the best.Have a healthy day ahead.thanks.
