Lump Between Hip Bone, Belly Button. MRI Scan Scheduled. What Could It Be?
Hi my step daughter has a lump it started the size of a pea and today she had a scan and they said it was not a hernia or anything obvious they need to do a mri scan we are all now very worried it is between her hip bone and her belly button and she can push it around do you have any ideas what we may be facing please le me know what you think?
Hello, Thanks for the query, Yes it may be hernia.
It is protrusion of the intestinal contents through an opening in the muscles.
This is the reason why it can be pushed back.
Dont worry it can be easily treated with surgery.
Please meet a surgeon.
