Lump In Groin, Inflames, Infected Lymph Nodes. Not Hernia. What Is It?
When i cough a small lump protrudes from my groin ... ive went to the doctor and he said i had infected lymph nodes...he gave me a antibiotic and and anti inflamafory...but niether pill healed me...i had a ultra sound done and they didn t see a hernia .. is it possible they could over look a hernia?... and this lump i can.push back in with my fingers....it also hurts badly when i stand for long periods of time

hi.. you have swelling in the groin and it becomes bigger with coughing could be hernia.. this may be missed when you got ultrasound done in reducible hernia, it goes inside when you lie down.. see your surgeon for clinical examination and treatment (surgery). all the very best..
Hi, Your history is very typical and it is very suggestive of having reducible, uncomplicated indirect inguinal hernia. Consult surgeon and get examined. Avoid constipation and coughing as it precipitate hernia to come out. You may require surgery after diagnosis. Ok and take care.
