Lump In The Vagina, Painful, Growing In Size. Not STD. What Could It Be?
Hello. Today I noticed a lump under the skin of my outer labia . It is painful when walking or when pressure is applied, and seems to have grown in size. There is no head or white part, so I don t think that it is a pimple . I am not sexually active, so I don t think it is an STD . Do you have any idea what this is and how I can relieve my discomfort?
I understand you are not sexually active & dont suspect any STD.
The lump under the labia can be one of many things but is most likely to be an infected cyst of some sort.
Most likely a bartholins cyst
It will most likely require a visit to the gynecologist or dermatologist, get a course of antibiotics & antiinflammatory agents that require a prescription & it should subside denovo. If not, it will require an incision & drainage that your doctor will decide for you on visualisation.
Cheers & wish you good health!
