Lump On The Side Of Stomach That Seems To Be Higher Than Belly Button. What Could This Be?
I can feel a lump on the side of my stomach , its on the right side of my stomach and its higher than my belly button so I don t think its a hernia . I workout almost everyday of the week, give or take a couple days I take off but for the majority of the week i ll be in the gym and eating really well. I dont know what this bump could mean?
Hi,
thanks for the question. A mass in the abdomen, has first to be confirmed and characterized. Based on the findings, further examinations and an appropriate management plan to be developed.
An abdominal ultrasound and probably an abdominal CT scan could be compelling. depending on organ attained, further more organ specific biological and paraclinical evaluations.
I suggest you visit an internist for a more comprehensive evaluation this condition. Correlation of clinical findings and results from the tests shall be a corner stone in your management.
Thanks and hope this helps,
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
