MRI Of Left Legs, Shows Soft Tissue Mass, Calcification, Hemangioma, Sarcoma. Operation Required?

had my MRI left leg and the impression is lobulated heterogeneously enhancing soft tissue mass within the distal lateral soleus muscle with size of 1.9x2.9x2.7cm. there are punctate low signal foci within the mass, probably representing clacifications/phleboliths. primary consideration is a soft tissue hemangioma . a soft tissue sarcoma is less likely. what is the best thing to do with this? do i need to undergo operation? thanks

Dear friend, welcome to HCM !

The MRI shows a tumour with ? calcification.
may be a a vascular tumour (haemangioma)or sarcoma (cancerous).
the action really depends on your symptoms.

Is it painful? red/ bluish?
How long has it been there?
Is it irregular and shaggy? Does it blled anytime?

Better if you could more description.
It is also advisable to consult a surgeon. He may advise a biopsy if it looks like a solid tumour.
Haemangioma is very vascular and bleeds. so usually not biopsied.

please be guided by the surgeon's opinion.
