MRI Showed Heterogeneous Mass Lesions In Frontal Lobe, Findings Suggestive Of High Grade Mitotic Pathology?

MR study reveals large ill defined poorly marginated markedly heterogeneous mass lesion in the frontal lobe showing intralesional necrosis and haemorrhage with heterogeneous post contrast enhancement and significant perilesional edema causing marked mass effect with subfalcine herniation and midline shift to the contralateral side. The perilesional also involves the genu of the corpus callosum with displacement of the flow voids of anterior cerebral artery to the contralateral sides. Findings are suggestive of high grade mitotic pathology (metastasis / glioblastoma multiforme )

Hello and thank you for posting your query on HCM
As I understand from your query that you want to know the meaning of the MRI report.
MRI report says that there is an undefined mass/growth in frontal lobe of the brain (Brain is divided into four lobes- frontal, temporal, parietal and occipital). Frontal lobe lies in front of the head.
This growth is causing pressure on normal brain tissue and even pushing it to the other side and causing herniation through weak points. This growth has lot of unviable tissue (feature of malignancy/tumor) and lot of hemorrhagea0.
Possibility of tumor coming from some other part of the body and settling in the brain or a high grade tumor (Glioblastoma multiforme) of the brain is given.

My advice to you is to visit your specialist (neurosurgeon preferably) and get the appropriate treatment- (surgery)
