MRI Shows Dominant Ovarian Follicle. What Does It Mean?
Hi i just had an MRI on my hip without contrast (for right hip/ groin pain without injury) and the hip looks good but the report states I have a 2.7cm dominant ovarian follicle . My cycle ended 2 days prior to THE MRI. Is there any relation to this ovary with my pain or could i just have synovitis? My sed rate came back at 53.

Hi thanks for your query. A dominant ovarian follicle is a normal finding. It would have nothing to do with your pain. Take care.
