i just got my mri results saying that i have mild degeneration in L4 and L5, my doctor said that physical therapy would help this.. but said nothing about pain meds. im in considerable pain. i am a nurses aide in a nursing home so im on my feet alot and do alot of lifting. is it unusual to ask for pain meds with mild degeneration?
definitely pain med with therapy but avoidance of wrong physical activity, but need actual MRI film to see actually it might be compresssion to nerve root............Get MRI re evaluation and re opinion..........Regards
