Menstrual Cycles With Severe Cramping And Reduced Bleeding. Bloated Feeling. How To Get Treated?
I am 36, my menstrual cycles have started to be accompanied with lots of cramping and little to no blood flow . It seems only to flow when I urinate and wipe - at which point there is a lot. My stomach feels as if the blood is trapped inside and makes me extremely bloated and uncomfortable. This has been the cycle for at least 6 months now. Is this normal? And how can I relieve the discomfort?
HI,
according to your description there is possibility for narrow cervical os, which can cause excessive pain during periods and also less and intermittent flow,
this can occur because of any procedures performed on cervix like cone biopsy etc, in some women congenitally also there can be narrow cervix,
in case of cervical fibroid or polyp etc also we can see these type of symptoms,
so you better consult gynecologist an undergo physical examination and if needed ultrasound which will possibly find out the cause and then treatment can be taken accordingly.
take care.
