Metal Plate In Wrist, Causes Pain,swelling And Redness
I have a metal plate in my wrist that has been ther for 3 years, it has occasionally ached before, but a couple of days ago, it started aching as usual. The following day I knew I would be doing a lot of heavy lifting and so I wore a wrist support to help, but it didn t help and now my wrist is aching a lot, it s swollen and very red around the scar area and I can t do anything with that arm now as it hurts too much.

wear a Crepe Bandage in figure of 8 form covering the complete wrist
take voveran with seratiopeptidase 3 daily for few days
complete wrist and hand immobilisation is recommended till pain settles
X-ray is advised then.
