Microscopic Traces Of Blood In Stool. Diagnosed With Extra Heartbeat, Mitral, Regurgitation. Remedy?

I am diagnosed with an extra heartbeat and mitral and some other type of regurgitation. I have begun to exercise much more in the last two weeks. My primary doctor tells me I have microscopic traces of blood in stool. Could this be connected to leaky heart valves? The sensation of the extra beat palpitation is all day every day now. What is the cure? Why is this happening? It is scary.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Irregular heart beats need to be DOCUMENTED by ElectroCardioGram (EKG). Standard ECG records the electrical activity of the heart, for a few seconds. It can detect the arrhythmia occurring during that time only. If the episode occurs randomly or precipitated by a specific activity like exercise, one needs Holter or event monitor. Holter records for days; Event monitor for weeks / Holter records continuously / Event monitor only at certain times .

Traces of blood in stool is not likely to be related to it / may from drugs like aspirin?

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
