Mild Pain On Opening Mouth Wide, Stretched Lining Behind Throat. Medical Attention Required?
I am feeling slight pain when opening my mouth wide. It is not the jaw but the side of the lining at the back of my throat surrounding the opening. One side looks really tight and does not seem able to stretch like the other side. Do I need to just keep trying to stretch it, or should I have it looked at and by what type of doctor?
hi. first of all we need to know if u have any tobacco habit or frequent ulceration of the mucosa on the affected side. If the tissue does not tretch u may have oral submucouss fibrosis or may be just some keratosis. u need help like from an ent or oral surgeon
