Missed Periods, Random Days Of Light Bleeding, Nausea, Fatigue, Cramps In Lower Abdomen. HPT Negative. Advice
Hi, I have the following symptoms: last month I didn't have a proper period, but I did have random days of bleeding - nothing much I am now experiencing nausea, fatigue, and have a cramp in my lower abdomen I have not had a period this month at all - I am now 11 days late.
I went to the dr's at the start of the month due to the odd bleeding, they queried pregnancy I have done 2 home tests, both negative. I'm wondering if you have any other ideas?
Hello Thanks for your query. There could be various reasons for random bleeding - stress, anxiety, hectic travelling, change of place, weight gain that is rapid and unusual etc. Thyroid hormone disorders could cause this. Endometrial hyperplasia, polyps, cervical growths, ovarian cysts - all are causative factors. being on the birth control or pregnancy related complications could be a plausible reason too. Take care.
Hi, Thanks for writing in. Your menstrual pattern is quite abnormal & need investigation. I recommend you should check your serum beta hCG levels ( blood pregnancy test) & also have one trans vaginal ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy. If you have any vaginal discharge then there may be a chance of infection. Best is to have an appointment with a Gynecologist. Take care.
