Mother Having Shingles, Father Having Chicken Pox. Am I In Danger Of Contracting Shingles?
My Mom has shingles and is quite sick. 1. My father never had chicken pox and is taking care of her. Is he in danger of getting Chicken pox or Shingles? 2. I had Chicken pox as a child and have a low immune system. Seems like i catch everything. Am I in danger of contracting shingles by coming into contact with my Mom?

Your father can get chicken pox if he never had it as a child. A chicken pox at this age will be very painful and may have complications so better start prophylactic treatment for him with acyclovir tablet.
Shingles cant be contracted form one person to another if he has had chicken pox so you may not but if your immune system goes down you can but again that is not because of her disease. Its because of your own virus lying dormant in your body
