Multiple Myeloma Patient, Reports Show Immature Granulocytes, On Velcade, Dexamethasone. Any Concerns ?

I am a multiple myeloma patient, and my recent labs showed my immature granulocytes were; abs 0.08 and my immature granulocyte percentage was 1.3. Should I be concerned or is this common in my case and will they possibly go back to normal once I'm off chemo? I'm currently on Velcade 2.6 mg 2x week for 2 weeks and off one and 40 mg dexamethasone once a week for 2 wks. and off one. Thank you

Hi. Immature granulocytes are a common phenomenon in the peripheral blood and at this low percentage of 1.3%, i dont think should be an issue to worry. So just go ahead with your treatment for multiple myeloma without any worries right now. Thank you.
