My 2 Year Old Daughter Vomits On Schedule
My 2 year old daughter vomits every Wednesday night. It s like clock work she is fine all week and even that whole day but she vomits at around 11 p.m. every singe Wednesday without fail. Also every morning when I change her diaper after all night her urine smells absolutely horrible. But when she urinates during the day it doesn t have an odor. What could this possibly be? And are these 2 things connected in anyway?

Why she vomits only on Wednesday at specific time is difficult to say but as for urine part it can be explained.The diaper is on whole night so she may be passing urine in late part of her sleep the urine is probably concentrated at that time so it has bad smell or odour;during day she is active & passes urine easily also she is drinking water so the smell is less or absent.No need to worry for urine but for vomiting please get her checked by a Paediatrician.

Since there is bad smell in the urine it could be urinary infection which can also cause vomiting, fever. Keep your child well hydrated. She need to be seen by her Doctor mandatorily as some cases of urinary infection can be due to certain anomalies in the genitourinary system like Vesicoureteral reflux. Does she have any abdominal pain, jaundice. Do not delay in consulting her Doctor and getting her a complete checkup to rule out kidney condition. According to the cause, the respective treatment will be given.

Hello, welcome to Healthcaremagic. The symptom of vomiting is very strange and is difficult to answer without examining her and further evaluation. As far as smell in diaper is concerned it could be due to urinary tract infection which is common in females. You must take her to pediatrician for urine tests and evaluation.
