Sarah,
Our little boy is 19 months and has had the same symptoms for the last year or so and then some.
We've no idea either - the MS tests have come back in the clear.
email me simon@reanimate.co.uk with your address and if we find anything I'll let you know (and vice-versa please!)
Thanks,

Simon.

hi,

my daughter has been going though the same thing for 2 yrs now also. She seems worse at night and in the morning. (constant runny nose and chest and nasal conjustion w/ mucus/phlem cough) She has had 5 chest x-rays, adnoids out, bacterial pneumonia twice, allergy test and no one can seem to figure it out. now they want to test her for CF. i did stop giving her milk products for over a month now seemed to have helped alittle, but still nothing. she is on in inhaled steroid and albuteral as breathing treatments.

please let meknow if you should have any ideas or find anything that helps your family it would be greatly appreiciated!

Welcome to Healthcare Magic
This could be due to respiratory infection. You should try letting him to steam inhalation and also take antitussives under medical supervision to relieve the thick mucus from blocking in the chest. This will do a great help for him. If his sputum is yellowish in colour he may need antibiotics to eradicate bacterial infection. Keep him well hydrated. Give diet rich in fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables and also high protein diet like cereals, pulses, eggs, chicken, lean meat.

Hello, welcome to Healthcaremagic. Your son could be having an allergic cough or any congenital disorder like cystic fibrosis. It is very difficult to comment further without proper examination and evaluation. You must take him to pediatrician for proper evaluation. Wish him good health.
