Hi Anirudh Kumar,
Thanks for the query.
You are suffering from a condition called "
Spinal Disc Herniation (prolapsus disci intervertebralis)" at L4-L5 level...
It is a condition where, the disc between the two vertebral bodies has been pushed forward, thereby compressing the
nerve roots at that level... That is the reason for your symptoms "muscles/bones locked at the back side of waist".
Initially, the symptoms will be relived by
Physiotherapy. But as time progress the pathology becomes severe which cannot be relived by physiotherapy alone...
I strongly suggest you to consult an
orthopaedic surgeon...
After a thorough physical examination...
He will ask you to conduct the following investigations...
1. X-ray of spine - AP & lat view
2. MRI of spine
Following which he may advice you on a surgery called "Discectomy" wherein he will surgically remove the
herniated disc which will relieve pressure on the nerve roots thereby relieving you of the symptoms.
Hope this answers your query...
Thank You,
Dr.Tulasi Raman.P
