Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Mildly raised liver enzymes can be due to fatty liver or NASH. To rule out these causes you need top have an ultrasound of abdomen and have a low fat and low protein diet.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.

Hello fazlin;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
The SGOT/SGPT are high and can be due to hepatitis A/B;fatty infiltration of liver;if you are non smoker.The Gamma GT or GGT can be raised in many conditions like;pancreatic disease;diabetes;renal failure;obesity;COPD etc.Please get a ultrasound of abdomen and if that shows fatty liver then the increase in enzymes may be due to it.For other reasons like hepatitis;for diabetes do a fasting and Post lunch sugar;for renal problem get investigated.
Thanks
