My Daughter Has A Fungal Infection In Sinus And Is Losing Vision In Left Eye

Daughter has a fungal infection in sinus & is losing vision in left eye. Local doctors can't agree on diagnosis. Mri clearly shows. have an appt. for surgery about 50 moiles away in a couple of weeks. Don'r think she can wait that long. Unable to take pain meds, because of pending surgery. What should I do!!

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter is having fungal infection of the sinuses leading to loss of vision.
Fungal infection is a serious condition and requires treatment at the earliest. Since diagnosis is not confirmed yet you can go for microbiological tests at the earliest to confirm the diagnosis.
The treatment of the condition is by use of anti-fungal drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
