dear sir,my wife ,45..now,hav pain in knee ..left leg,consulted dr. and got xrays done,shown gap in knee,following medicines prescribed..1.tab G L X-P 8MG. 2.TAB rabipace 20mg 3.TAB ostovit dm. 4.CAO UNION .. CORAL CALCIUM. and quadriceps exercise, sir please reply. as there is no relief. what should b done to avoid this types of pain

Hi dear

She must be having osteoarthritis of knee.Pain relief medicines are not always useful in Knee pain.A knee cap can restrict her knee movement an can help.Ask her to take plenty of water and reduce salt in her diet.Depending on the extent of damage , you can opt for surgery too.
