Nausea, Upset Stomach, Burning Sensation In Stomach, Swollen Stomach, Loss Of Appetite
I started hurting 3 days ago...first felt a little nauseated (SP) ...then felt like my bowels were upset....but were not....burning/full sensations in abdomen...middle between rib cage...can't sleep at night due to the discomfort....pain gets worse for hours at a time and then seems to ease off...stomach very swollen.....haven't had much of an appetite ,,,a little concerned because I've never had indigestion, etc.
Thanks for query on HCM. Pain, burning, nausea is most likely due to acute gastritis and usually occurs after indigestion, oily, spicy, heavy food and even after disturbed sleep pattern, anxiety. Avoid oily, spicy food.Avoid stress, anxiety.Take simple and more liquid diet. Eat more fiber diet and drink enough water and other liquids. Otherwise you can take rebeprazole,pentoprazole/domperidon. Injection of ranitidine is advisable.Antacid gel will be helpful. Take proper sound sleep. Consult your family physician for medical management.
