Neck, Back And Shoulders Pain After Car Accident, Have Numbness And Stiffness. What Is The Reason?
I was in a major rear end car accident 4 months ago. I had pain jn the neck and back for about a month and half. Partway through physical therapy my neck stuffined again and my back, shoulders, both arms hurt. My arms go numb and my neck always has an achy pain. My pain level fluctuates from 2 to 8/10 daily. Recent MRI indicated Disc spur with complex on C5 thru C6 and C6 thru C7. I never ever had a problem with my neck and back before this. I am 36 years old and once active and healthy before the accident. What is causing the pain and weakness?

Due to compression of this nerve root there is tingling numbness in your arm and pain associated with it.
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
