Neck Pain, Radiating To Left Arm. Took Gabica, Methycobal, Recurring Condition. Treatment?
Hello I am 31 years old married woman. Last year in september I started having pain in neck that radiated to left arm . I took movax and pain killer for few days but it didnt work. After a week I went to a Doctor and he prescribed me Gabica 75 mg 1+1 and Methycobal 500mg 1+1+1 for 15 days. It worked and I got relieved. But no again this year this same pain has been started and this time these medicines are not working. Can you please guide me exactly what and why im having this ache?
It could be Cervical Spondylosis / occasionally, cervical rib and so on - causing nerve irritation. MRI of the neck may show the abnormality...
Muscle spasm from bad posture in bed or work may be responsible.
May be a referred pain - ECG and basic blood tests may be needed
Proper treatment need proper diagnosis. Proper diagnosis need examination. The best option will be to see the Internist. Physical examination and basic work out will diagnose.
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
