Need Advice On Blood Test Results.

Dear Doctor, Have been having severs pain in my hip, plus frequent trips to the bathroom to pass urine. I had a blood test Thursday and read the results on my patient portal, WBC was +++500 , urine-color yellow, Appearance-clear, Specific Gravity-1.015,ph 5.0 I am a young 82, usually very active. Hello and welcome to HCM,

The urine examination shows presence of white blood cells.
Presence of white blood cells suggests presence of infection in the urine sample and thus urinary tract infection.
I would advise you to consult your primary healthcare provider with report for prescription of antibiotic for treatment of the infection.
In case of urinary tract infection, plenty of fluids and citrus fruits juice especially cranberry juice should be taken.
