Hi I am a 37 year old female I weigh 144lbs. I recently lost down from 175lbs. I am 4" 11". I have had a lot of pain in my pelvic region and had a transvaginal ultrasound. Also I have been having a chronic high white blood count off and on for several years. The results of the ultrasound are as follows, Findings: Transvaginal pelvic ultrasound was performed. The uterus is visualized and messures 7.3 x 5.1x 4.8. The endometrium messures 5.4 mm. The uterus has a mottled and inhomogeneous echotexture. Ill-defined lesions are seen in the body of the uterus, consistent with fibroids. There was one lesion in the fundus which messures 2cm. Endometrail stripe is somewhat distorted in the fundus due to the fibroids. There is some trace free fluid seen in the cul-de-sac. Ovaries visualized bilaterally. The right ovary messures 3 x 1.8 x 1.8 cm. The left ovary messured 3.1 x 2.5 x 2.6 cm. There is a 1.7 cm hypoechoic lesion seen on the left ovary which could represent a complicated cyst. No other adnexal masses or free fluid identified.
Impression: 1. Inhomogeneous echotexture throughout the uterus with a mottled appearance to the fundus and the body which suggest multiple fibroids. There is at least one distinct fibroid seen at the fundus. These distort the endometrial stripe, however, the stripe appeared to be within normal limits at 5.4 mm. 2. Hypoechoic lesion on the left ovary which could represent a complicated or hemorrhagic cyst. Otherwise, the adnexa are within normal limits with no focal mass lesions evident. There is trace free fluid in the cul-de-sac otherwise, no significant free fluid identified.
I am not sure what any of that means and I was wondering how I should procede.
