Hi, me and my husband have been trying for a baby. I've been off the pill for about two months before trying to concieve. Now my period is due, but has not shown at all. I have worse acne than usual, slight on and off cramping and other pregnancy symtoms, but my hpt came up negative. Could I still be pregnant?
Dear member, Thanks for writing. If your home pregnancy test is negative that means you are not pregnant despite the symptoms that suggests pregnancy. I would suggest that you wait for a week and repeat the test. If negative then consult your doctor regarding a prescription for norethisterone to induce a period. Meanwhile if the cramps are severe take tablet meftal spas. Thanks. Dr Bhagyashree
