Need Medication For Acne Scars

Hii..A few months ago I had a severe break out of acne and was administered Sotret capsules.Now though acne has reduced, there are lot of scars and lot of reddish area around the cheeks.So my doc has now prescribed Sotret gel for control of this sensitivity.Will this help???Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I can understand your concern for acne scars. These are the most difficult of sequel of the acne which requires thorough patience.

If I were your dermatologist then I would have suggested you to use azelaic acid cream or Kojic acid cream or glycolic acid cream or licorice extract or arbutine creams at night time in guidance of dermatologist.

The most important part is to use a sunscreen regularly in open environment and on exposure to sun.

Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem can be dealt best for future time.
