Need Medication For Swollen Feet

my feet are swollen. i have heart disease, poor balance and serious muscle loss or weakness or very poor endurance. . i am 81 yrs old. should i see a neurologist? i already have a ton of dr s and i have put off this problem as being minor compared to my heart disease.

hi,
swollen feet in your age group is commonly due to venous pooling in legs. moreover, it indicates fluid overload on diseased heart. It may also be due to low protein in blood as you say, you have lost some muscle. you may consult a physician rather than a neurologist for your problem. All the best.
