Need Treatment For Migraine And Abdominal Pain.

I had a tubraligation and also this past December I had another procedure in which I had my cervix eblasive and a sling put in. I ve been real sick with migraines and abdominal pain went to the e.r and had tests done the blood tests came back positive for pregnancy? I went back 2days later to have my levels checked they were lower now they want to do a MRI! Could I have a tumor in my head that s what they think triggered the test to come out positive??

Hello,

I do not think that they ordered the MRI became of the pregnancy test, they most likely ordered it because of the migraines you mention. So they may have the exclusion of a tumor in mind among other things (venous thrombosis or other types of stroke, infections, inflammation etc., are to be excluded) but not necessarily because of the pregnancy test. In theory, some pituitary gland tumors could cause hormonal alterations, but it is very exceptional to produce false positive pregnancy test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
