No Periods, Pelvic Scan Showed Bulky Uterus, Single Gestational Sac, Intrauterine Gestation. What Does That Mean?

i had no periods from last two months .doctor told me to scan the plevis .so my report was uterus is bulky.it contains a single gestational sac measuring approx (18) mm corresponding to 6wks 5 days is seen.single live intrauterine gestation of less than 6wks.iam unable to understand what it is please sent msg .what it is.

Hi Sreelaxmi,

The ultrasound scan of the pelvis says that you are pregnant. There is a single live intrauterine gestation of less than 6 weeks. It means there is a foetus in your womb that is less than 6 weeks of age. It is a single foetus and alive.
