Not Getting Orgasm. Had Scar Tissue Removal Of Prostrate By TURP Operation. Any Relation?

I am a 49 year old male. approximately 1 year ago I had to have scar tissue removed from my prostrate from an earlier TURP operation. as soon as the are healed enough to have sex with my wife I discovered I no longer experience an orgasm. To this day I still cannot.. I asked the doctor about it and he assured me that the surgery he performed could not be responsible. But the fact remains that I had not problem with reaching orgasm before the surgery and now I cannot. My wife and I have tried everything but still no orgasm. Ideas?

Dear Sir,

Sorry to hear about your problem. Impotence is a known side effect following TURP and some people suffer from it for prolonged periods. You should consult your urologist and consider taking medicines for it, provided your cardio status is normal.
TURP can also lead to retrograde ejaculation and you can have this evaluated as well.

Hoping for the best.
