Notch Formed In Lower Eyelid, Looks Like Skin Missing And Have Blurred Vision
I had a basal cell cancer removed from my left eyelid 6 years ago with no reoccurence. I have now developed a notch on my lower right eyelid where it looks like skin is missing and have slightly blurred vision on and off throughout the day-worse in the morning.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having basal cell carcinoma with skin missing in the power eye lid. This indicates that the basal cell carcinoma can be of ulcerative type which has caused tissue defect in the involved eye lid. Hence this requires excision followed by skin grafting to prevent further extension of the basal cell carcinoma as the tumour can spread to neighbouring parts.
Thank you
