Noticed Swelling Of Thighs Due To Huminsullin 30

hi! iam a juvenile diabetic patient. 20 years old. type 1 diabetes. i take huminsulin 30?70 twice a day on my thighs. as a result, my thighs have sweeled up . earlier i used to take it in my belly area. it had swelled up too. now i have stopped taking anywhere but on my thighs. but the sweling earlie caused still pertains. what to do ? and also throw some light on the angle at which insulin should b injected into the body.

Dear sir i understand your concern.the problem you are facing is called as lipohypertropy.This is a common problem noting to worry.you need to rotate the site of injection every time you take the shot.if you are having sufficient fat under skin its always better to inject insulin at an angle of 90 degrees. avoid taking insulin on swollen area.with time the swelling will reduce....regards
