On Bolus Lantus For Type 1 Diabetes, Injecting 5-6 Times A Day. Suggest Maximum 2 Injections Per Day With Diet Changes
My name Mihai, 58 years old, 23 years of type 1 diabetes (since I was 36 years).
I am on bolus lantus since ten years. I'm tired I want to do maximum 2 injections
per day and to balance by the quantity of food. I am tired to calculate, to inject
5-6 times per day...It was better with Actrapid and NPH than now with lantus with novorapid.
What to do? - please tell me.

Hi, the injections are usually twice, and not more than that, probably you have misunderstood. I advise you to confirm from your doctor regarding.
Usually if it is flickring, due to excess intake it may be needed like this. Try to have a fixed diet plan, if still it is not under controle you can have increased the dose, or you may use the oral forms for slow controle. Thank you.
