On Different Birth Control Pills For Years. Severe Migraines. Due To Low Or High Estrogen, Progesterone?
Taking birth control for over 11 years, within the last two years I have been getting horrible migraines (which nothing over the counter has been able to take away the pain). My doctor has switched me every six or seven months to another pill. Now it's at a point that seems like I can't find one that works for me. I have been taking low dose birth control pills such as lo estrin fe, ortho tricyclin. My periods also haven't been on time, they fluctuate through out the month. I know that the migraine are caused from my pills, but I haven't found one that works. Is it possible the migraine are because the estrogen or progesterone are either to low or to high?
