On Post Menopausal. On Vivelle, Progesterone. Now Have Bleeding. Cure For Symptoms?

I am post menopausal 6 years and have been on Vivelle 0.075 and progesterone 18 months and feeling great last year, I had a very faint spotting and was unable to do a biopsy in office as cervix wouldn't open. i attributed it to an isolated incident and my dr agreed to no d&c but stated if it happened AGAIN, i would have to have one. one year later, I am bleeding, more than spotting, but not heavy. I am a wreck. Could it be my meds?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The bleeding that you are having is due to the effect of the hormonal pills that you are taking. This is likely to subside in next few days without any specific treatment. Please do not worry.
