Oozing Red Bump Around Inner Triceps, What Could This Be?
My husband is 20 years old, he is 6'4" and about 180lbs. He has had a red bump on his left inner triceps for about ten days. It looks like a mosquito bite but red, with a very large 1-2 inch red ring around it. It has also been itchy, painful, and oozing. What could this be?

I really appreciate your concern, this could be carbuncle I treated my patient if ever come to me with such history, with Tab Acetaminophen with Ibuprofen three times this gives good result if purulent discharge is there then antibiotic may be needed hope this information helps you have nice day.
