Ovary Pain, Hot Flashes, Shivering After Abortion 3 Weeks Ago. Normal?

I had an abortion three weeks ago I was 16 weeks . I've been having ovary pains wanted to know if its normal ? Plus when I went to parenthood for follow up they dint inspect me just asked me questions and sent me on my way was that normal too? Please advice I'm afraid of getting and infection . I have been getting shivers, hot flashes and attitude change ease advice

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Usually 16 weeks pregnancy will terminate as mini labor.
So if the fetus, placenta everything came out in a sac without the need of D&C, there is less possibility for infection. If you have any doubt, consult gynecologist and go for ultrasound once.
This will rule out any possibility of retained products and infection.
Then you can go for symptomatic treatment.
