PCOS, Trying To Conceive. Prescribed Clomid. Is Ovamid Clomifene Tablets The Same As Clomid?

Hi i have polycystic ovary syndrome and i have to take clomid to get pregnant and i ordered them online and i got Ovamid 25 Clomifene tablets bp 25mg and i have never seen these before i was wondering if they were an actual clomid because all of them that i have taken was clomifene citrate and they are white but the ovamid are yellow and smaller?

Hi Kkerr,
Both drug has the same medicine in the form of Clomifene Citrate. The difference is in the company name and will produce same effect.
But the condition you are suffering from PCOD. For PCOD you have to use some other medication and PCOD is one important cause if infertility in women.
This drug will help in ovulation of egg and chances of pregnancy will increase.
I would suggest you to consult your doctor and ask for treating this condition of PCOD and once this is cured your fertility will be back to normal.
One of the most important method to control this condition of PCOD is to reduce your weight by 5 % and this will certainly help in this.
