Pain And Bloating In The Stomach. Reason?

Hello Hey everyone, I m a 50 yr old female and on Thursday night, I had this really terrible pain in my stomach (mid-upper area). After I woke up the pain subsided but kept on persisting. It s been 5 days with persistent pain but that horrible pain as if I m being scratched is back. My stomach also feels and appears to be bloated and I keep hearing growling too. I haven t had any problems with stools though. My appetite is okay. Could someone please help? Thank you so much.

Hello,

It seems to me that you are suffering from inflammation at the stomach, take Nexium tab and keep away from spicy food and caffeine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
