Pain Around Left Shoulder Blade Mostly While Sitting Without Back Support. Treatment?
Few months ago I had pain around my left shoulder blade and later on I felt like an electric shock going from my upper arm to the tip of my left fingers. I usually feel this sensation when I sit without back support, when I sit on the toilet and I turn on my right lying on bed. I also feel this when I turn my head to the left touching my shoulder.
Did you suffer from chest pain if so take an ECG to monitor your heart status
if no chest pain You are more like to suffer from neuritis .
Do not panic , Common cause of neuritis is
Trauma
Infection
Vitamin Deficiency
If trauma occured in past few days there is no such worry as it recover in few weeks time.
Take an X-ray to rule out bone disorder
I advice you to take medication for 3months to prevent weakness due to neuritis
tab.Neurobion forte once daily for 3months
Tab.Cefixime 400 twice daily for 1week
Ask us if symptom persist. Wishing you speedy recovery
I Hope I Provided Useful Information. Do ask Furthur Questions to help You get well soon.
