Pain Behind The Eye, Sudden Nausea. Was Treated For Sinus Infection. Pressure In Ear, Face. Cause?
Hi. I went to dr the other day with pain behind the eye. And sudden nausea . I was treated for sinus infection . I am not so sure that is the problem. My face still hurts. And I still get nausea. And my eye pains are still returning. At times, my heart beats fast and sometimes great pain stabs me for a short time then goes away. Sometime the nausea is overwhelming that I have to remember to breath slowly in and out. And pressure is great in the ear and face. What are your thoughts?
hello Beckt4him.. pain behind the eye can be due to condition called glaucoma in which pressures in the eye become more due to many causes which could known only by detailed examination. this condition is also associated with decreased vision. another condition called migraine which also presents like this. this will be relieved the use of analgesics.. this can also be associated with transient loss of vision for sometime. so get an ophthalmologic check up done to rule if you have glaucoma because the early you treat better the visual prognosis. this condition in a long run can cause permanent visual loss. you should better be known about this consequences.. get your eyes get checked now.. thank you. take care.
