Two nights and went home. .OK Now have pain but I have BM. , no nausea or vomiting. Can I treat this at home with a liquid diet?
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM).
You are having partial intestinal obstruction due to adhesion. At present since there is no nausea, vomiting or obstipation, then it may be treated at home. Take some antispasmodic agent like drotaverine, take fibre free liquid or soft diet, and some prokinetic agent like itopride. If symptoms are not relieved or they become worse then need to be hospitalized.
I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. Remain in touch and get-well soon.
