Pain In Ankle. Veins Sticking. Hurts When Walking. What May Be Wrong?

I am doing high school cross country for the first time and ever since the day we did hills a week ago, my ankle has not stopped hurting. It hurts during and after a run and it also hurts to walk. It is not really swollen, but the veins there are sticking out a lot more than usual. I have been applying ice packs for two days but it has not helped. It hurts especially at night and in the morning. Whats wrong with it?

PROBABLY YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM VARICOSE VEIN...YOU CAN USE STOCKINGS.I ALSO ADVISE A USG COLOUR DOPPLER OF BOTH LEGS
