Pain In Arm After Taking Flu Shot. Normal?

I received the flu shot this afternoon, it did not hurt when I got it, about 45 mins later my arm started aching and it won't stop, is hurting so bad that I am having trouble lifting it. It has been going on for over 30 mins now, is this normal? I always get the flu shot and I have never had this problem before.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

It is normal to have some pain after a injection. But if you have significant pain that is disturbing you so much and limiting the movement of your limb then you should be examined by your doctor.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
