Pain In Armpit, Shoulders And Breast With Tingling Fingers. History Of Being Diagnsoed Glandular Fever. Any Connections?
Hi I was diagnosed with Glandular fever three weeks ago after doctor did some blood tests. Glands in my neck , left armpit and groin are swollen. In last few days I have started getting pain in my armpit, shoulder and tingling in my fingers and also what it feels like pain in left breast. If I press the breast or skin under armpit it does not hurt. Could this be connected to glandular fever? Thank you
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Glandular fever has , acute localized suppurative infection, pulmonary infection. When infection spread from localized to generalized than it causes , lymphadenitis, fever, malaise, prostration. Now ,you complaints that pain is in the breast , but no pain due pressing i.e. pain is in the lungs ( due to glandular fever). Lymph nodes of armpit, neck and groin are due to infection of glandular fever. Consult a physician and get in treatment. Sometimes spleen and liver also get infection , but treatment is same. Hope I have answered your question. If further any question I will help. GOOD LUCK. Dr. HET
