I recently went had a heart ablation, since that time I have had pain in my chest upon exertion. Yesterday I went to hospital due to sharp pain shooting down left arm with tingling /burning top of head. Dr said a silent migrane, I also have noticed a dropping in my face. Dr said he was confident that it was a silent migrane but slight chance of mini stroke. No test ordered

General & Family Physician, Dr. Ramakant's Response
You should have the ct scan of the brain done if you have tingling sensation and dropping in the face.
The chances of stroke may be there in such cases.Sometimes the haemorrhagic stroke may also cause it and the treatment is different in two cases.
Just consult a neurologist near you and have the ct scan or mri brain as per his recommendation and start the timely treatment.
The chest pain may be due to the cardiac cause and consult the cardiologist as well with the relevant investigations like ekg, 2d echo of heart and serum cardiac enzymes.
